Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 26, 2026
MYUNG JAE PARK ("we") makes the mobile game Black Hole Mukbang (the "Game"). This policy explains what information is processed when you play the Game or visit this website, why, and the choices you have.
1. In short
- The Game has no accounts and no sign-in. We never ask for your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos or precise location.
- Your progress, your channel name and your settings are saved only on your device. They are not sent to us.
- The Game shows ads through Google AdMob. Google may collect device identifiers and usage data to show and measure ads, as explained in section 3. You can choose non-personalized ads at any time.
- We don't use analytics or tracking tools of our own, and we don't sell personal information.
- The Game needs an internet connection. To check it, the Game regularly sends an empty request to Google's connectivity-check address (gstatic.com); like any connection, this shows your IP address to Google. Nothing else is sent, and we receive nothing.
2. Information stored on your device
The Game keeps a save file on your device. It contains:
- your channel name (the nickname you type in the Game);
- game progress: tips (coins), subscribers and channel level, skins, upgrades, stars, missions, check-in days and the collection book;
- settings: sound, vibration, language, controls and graphics;
- ad reward counters (for example, how many rewarded ads you watched today), so that daily limits work.
This file stays on your device. We have no server that receives it, and there is no cloud backup. Deleting the Game deletes it.
3. Advertising (Google AdMob)
To keep the Game free, it shows a banner and rewarded ads that you choose to watch. The ads are provided by Google AdMob (Google LLC, or Google Ireland Limited for users in the EEA, UK and Switzerland) through the Google Mobile Ads SDK built into the Game.
To show ads, limit how often you see the same ad, measure ads and prevent fraud, the SDK may collect and process:
| Data | Examples |
|---|---|
| Device identifiers | the advertising ID of your device (on iOS only if you allow tracking), an app-specific identifier, IP address |
| Device and app information | device model, operating system and version, language, app version, approximate location derived from the IP address (country or region) |
| Ad interactions | ads shown, taps, completed rewarded ads |
| Diagnostics | information about crashes and performance of the SDK |
Google processes this data under its own policies:
- Google Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
- How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
Your choices
- Consent (EEA, UK, Switzerland and other regions where the law requires it): before personalized ads are shown, the Game asks for your consent through Google's consent message. You can change your choice at any time in Settings → Privacy options.
- iOS: the advertising ID (IDFA) is used only if you allow tracking in Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. You can change this in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Android: you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings (Settings → Privacy → Ads, or Settings → Google → Ads).
- If you decline personalized ads, you will still see ads, but they are non-personalized: chosen from the context (such as the Game itself) and approximate location, not from your interests.
4. Sharing your results
When you tap Share on a result screen, the Game creates an image of your stream results and opens your device's share sheet. The image goes only to the app or person you choose. We don't receive it.
5. This website
The About, Privacy and Terms pages open this website inside the Game. The website uses no cookies, no analytics and no third-party trackers, and its fonts and images are served from this website itself. Like any website, the hosting server may record standard access logs (IP address, browser type, page requested and time) for security and operation. These logs are kept only as long as needed for those purposes.
6. Statistics from Apple and Google
Apple (App Store Connect) and Google (Google Play Console) give us aggregated statistics such as installs, crashes and usage, and crash reports, only from users who agreed in their device settings to share data with app developers. These statistics are provided under Apple's and Google's privacy policies, and they do not let us identify you.
7. Children
The Game is intended for players aged 13 and older and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and have questions, please contact us.
8. Legal bases (EEA, UK and Switzerland)
- Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR): personalized advertising and access to the advertising identifier where consent is required.
- Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR): showing non-personalized ads that keep the Game free, preventing ad fraud, and operating this website securely.
9. International transfers
Google may process data in the United States and other countries. For transfers from the EEA, UK and Switzerland, Google relies on safeguards such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses.
10. How long data is kept
- Save data: on your device until you delete the Game.
- Data processed by Google: according to Google's retention policies.
- Website access logs: only as long as needed for security and operation.
11. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. Because we don't hold personal information about you on our side, the quickest ways are:
- delete the Game to remove your save data;
- change your ad choices in Settings → Privacy options, or in your device's ad and tracking settings;
- manage the data Google holds at https://myadcenter.google.com.
You can also contact us (section 14). You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
California and other US states: we do not sell personal information. Using the advertising ID for personalized ads may count as "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law. You can opt out through Settings → Privacy options (where available), by declining tracking on iOS, or by deleting your advertising ID on Android.
12. Security
The Game does not send your save data anywhere, and this website is served only over encrypted HTTPS connections.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the Game or the law changes. The effective date above will change, and important changes will be announced in the Game or on this page.
